Established in 2021, Shenzhen Hong Kong Pui Kiu College Longhua Xinyi School (PKXYS) is a partnership between the Hong Kong Xinyi Group and the Pui Kiu Education Foundation. It is recognized as the first international boarding school in Mainland China to implement both the National Compulsory Education Curriculum and the Hong Kong Curriculum concurrently. Furthermore, it is the inaugural institution in Mainland China to provide a 16-year continuous education program specifically designed for Hong Kong students.

Situated in the Longhua District of Shenzhen, near the Shenzhen North Railway Station, the school encompasses roughly 45,000 square meters, with a total constructed area of around 180,000 square meters. Its prime location allows for exceptional convenience, with just 19 minutes to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and 21 minutes to Futian Port via high-speed rail and Shenzhen Metro Line 4—facilitating efficient daily commutes between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.

Curriculum and Accreditation

PKXYS presents a wide-ranging and inclusive curriculum, which includes:

• The Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE)
• International Curricula: IGCSE, A-Level, and NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY)

PKXYS proudly holds the following distinctions:

• The first school in Mainland China to participate in an External School Review organized by the Hong Kong Education Bureau, conducted by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ).
• Officially recognized as operating with a school model akin to Hong Kong’s subsidized or directly-funded schools.
• An authorized Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) institution (Global Centre Code: CX221).

Job description

Teaching Responsibilities

• Develop and submit semester teaching schemes of work while establishing clear instructional goals.
• Conduct all classes in English, ensuring academic rigor and engaging students.

Communication Responsibilities

• Attend departmental and staff meetings.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.
• Cultivate positive relationships with parents and provide regular updates on students' academic performance.

Support Responsibilities

• Participate in school management activities, oversee duties, and engage in promotional events as required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in a relevant subject area. (Candidates with a Master’s degree and a recognized teaching qualification will be prioritized.)
• A minimum of five years of teaching experience in IGCSE, A-Level, HKDSE, or other recognized international curricula. (Candidates with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in education-related fields should have at least two years of teaching experience.)
