About This Role
Dubai International Academy, Al Barsha is seeking a passionate IB-MYP and IB-DP Drama teacher with a specialization in Music, commencing in August 2026.
While experience in an international school environment, especially with IB-MYP and IB-DP, is desirable, we also welcome motivated educators who aspire to make a meaningful impact within our dynamic community.
Our academy offers a rigorous curriculum combined with a robust language program in an international setting, based on the esteemed programs provided by the Geneva-based International Baccalaureate: the Primary Years Programme (IB-PYP), Middle Years Programme (IB-MYP), and Diploma Programme (IB-DP).
REQUIREMENTS:
- Preferred candidates will have experience with IB-MYP & IB-DP or a similar outcomes-focused educational framework.
- Experienced educators with a demonstrated record of achievement may be eligible for leadership roles.
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Drama/Theatre/Music and a recognized teaching certification.
- Those with a Master’s Degree or higher will be given preference.
- Knowledge of assessment for learning practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication and technological proficiency are essential.
