About This Role

We are looking for a flexible and motivating Drama Teacher to become part of our Primary School team, starting on August 01, 2026.

THE ROLE – RESPONSIBILITIES


Create and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Drama lessons that focus on creative expression, improvisation, role play, and performance.


Boost students' confidence, communication skills, and teamwork abilities through drama-based educational strategies.


Show commitment and effort to make lessons enjoyable and relevant for every student.


Motivate students to embrace independent learning and foster a love for knowledge by demonstrating enthusiasm.


Tailor lessons to accommodate the varied knowledge levels, abilities, and learning styles present in the classroom.


Skillfully integrate technology into everyday teaching and learning activities.


Demonstrate a solid understanding of the school's established curriculum and policies within instructional methods.


Support the school’s mission and actively engage in the wider school community, sharing insights and expertise with colleagues.


Craft meaningful communications for parents that showcase the high-quality teaching and learning taking place in the classroom.

YOUR PROFILE – QUALIFICATIONS


A passionate, experienced, and qualified educator eager to pursue opportunities for professional growth and enhance teaching quality.


A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Primary Education, along with a valid teaching certification or degree in Drama.


At least two years of teaching experience, ideally in a multilingual setting.


Experience teaching Drama, Performing Arts, or Theatre in a Primary School environment.


Confidence in facilitating performance-based learning and creative projects.


Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and playful learning atmosphere that encourages self-expression.


Experience in leveraging technology to enrich student learning experiences.


Familiarity with the IBPYP curriculum is preferred.
