About This Role

The British Junior Academy of Brussels (BJAB) is situated in the diplomatic residential area of Brussels, benefiting from a diverse student intake that reflects our closeness to major EU institutions, prominent NGOs, and multinational companies. Established in 1992, we have earned a reputation as a premier provider of the National Curriculum of England, recognized by our community. BJAB proudly holds membership in COBIS (Council of British International Schools) and IAPS (Independent Association of Prep Schools). Our 2019 ISI inspection rated us ‘Excellent’ across all areas, and we successfully completed a follow-up compliance inspection in 2022, meeting all British School Overseas (BSO) standards. The inspection report is available for review.

Our school has a strong history of guiding students into prestigious European and British independent schools, such as Eton, Thomas’s Battersea, Westminster, Magdalen College, St Mary’s Ascot, and James Allen's Girls School, continuing to attract high-quality British and international families.

At BJAB, we emphasize creating a safe, caring, respectful, tolerant, and disciplined environment where high standards are upheld throughout all aspects of school life. Currently, we have approximately 280 students and a dedicated teaching staff of 48.
