REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- A Bachelor of Education is essential
- Prior to employment, a satisfactory child abuse registry check and criminal record check must be completed
DUTIES:
- Follow the Teachers Code of Conduct as well as the OCN/OES Employee Code of Conduct
- Maintain punctuality and courtesy towards all staff and students
- Plan and deliver the approved curriculum effectively
- Foster an engaging, respectful, and orderly learning environment conducive to student success
- Evaluate student assessments and communicate the evaluation procedures for each course
- Provide reports and attendance records to the principal when required
- Enhance Physical Education instruction by utilizing assessment results
- Ensure students are referred to appropriate special services when necessary
- Complete and submit timetables, lesson plans, mark books, and any other relevant documentation before departing from the position
- Undertake any additional duties as assigned
