The ideal candidate will spearhead leadership development, manage CPD budgets, and implement effective programs aimed at enhancing teaching, learning, and professional growth. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement a comprehensive coaching and leadership development program.
- Facilitate access to external CPD opportunities that enhance staff skills.
- Oversee the CPD budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Curate and sustain a top-quality staff CPD library.
- Plan, execute, and assess a weekly CPD program aligned with school priorities and staff needs.
- Coordinate and deliver CPD sessions during the induction week for new employees.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of CPD initiatives on staff performance and student success.
- Advise the Head of School on strategic CPD priorities and emerging requirements.
- Act as the coaching lead, mentoring staff and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
**Our ideal candidate will have:**
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant specialist subject area.
- A fully qualified teacher status with BEd, MEd, PGCE, QTS, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience delivering the National Curriculum for England, with the capability to teach Secondary subjects up to iGCSE level.
- A commitment to raising standards in keeping with the school’s vision, mission, and values.
- Exceptional teaching skills, capable of delivering innovative lessons based on current pedagogical theories and forward-thinking approaches.
- A natural inclination to learn and actively engage in the school's Professional Learning Community.
- Proficiency in using digital tools to enhance learning, in alignment with the school’s 'Apple Distinguished School' status.
- A collaborative spirit, working well within the immediate team and the broader school community.
