About This Role

Morogoro International School, located in Tanzania, is a distinguished institution committed to providing outstanding international education. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced iGCSE and A-level Chemistry Teacher to join our Science Department. This position involves delivering Chemistry lessons following the Cambridge curriculum at the High/Secondary School level.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in iGCSE and A-level Chemistry aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
- Prepare students for their exams and assessments.
- Develop lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science program.
- Participate in school activities and help cultivate a positive learning environment.

Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field (minimum requirement).
- At least 5 years of teaching experience, preferably with the Cambridge curriculum or similar international standards.
- Comprehensive knowledge of iGCSE and A-level Chemistry content and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students towards achieving academic excellence.
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools in the classroom.
