Job Description

In the role of Middle School English teacher, you will design and implement engaging lessons in line with the Cambridge framework while adhering to Hungarian national education policies. You will cultivate a student-centered classroom that encourages academic development, self-assurance, and a passion for learning. Experience in teaching digital culture and science will be considered a plus.

Your responsibilities will include lesson planning, evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating with both Hungarian and international colleagues to enhance the primary program. The ideal candidate will be a thoughtful, driven educator who is dedicated to delivering top-notch teaching and pursuing ongoing professional development.

Skills and Qualifications


Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher accompanied by a recognized teaching qualification


Have at least two years of recent relevant experience in primary education


Familiarity with, or willingness to engage with, the Cambridge framework for English subjects


Strong grasp of student-centered and inquiry-based learning principles


Exceptional classroom management and organizational abilities


Capability to work effectively within a bilingual and multicultural team


Dedication to professional development and contributing to a growing school

Key Responsibilities


Develop and deliver high-quality English instruction consistent with the Cambridge International Curriculum.


Establish a student-centered learning atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence.


Support the academic, social, and emotional growth of students.


Assess, monitor, and communicate student progress in accordance with school policies.


Tailor instruction to accommodate the diverse needs of learners.


Work collaboratively with Hungarian and international colleagues on curriculum design and school initiatives.


Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians.


Engage actively in the broader school community by participating in events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
