Acorn International School Rome Seeks Early Years Teacher
About This Role
Why Choose Acorn?
At Acorn, we view children as capable, resilient, and filled with wonder. Our Early Years program is fundamentally based on the Reggio Emilia approach, where the environment serves as the "third teacher," and documentation brings learning experiences to life.
What You Will Do:
•
Co-Construct Learning: Lead child-driven projects that ignite curiosity and encourage profound thinking.
•
Create Provocations: Curate beautiful, purposeful spaces that promote exploration and discovery.
•
Document the Journey: Capture and convey the "hundred languages" of children through photography, video, and written reflections.
•
Collaborate: Partner with a committed team of educators and ateliers in a nurturing, international setting.
Who You Are:
•
A qualified Early Years educator with a strong comprehension of (or a keen interest in mastering) the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
•
A reflective practitioner who prioritizes listening as much as teaching.
•
A supporter of play-based, relational learning.
