IB PHE Subject Chair

I-Shou International School, situated in Taiwan, is a prominent institution dedicated to delivering exceptional international education. We are on the lookout for a committed and experienced Physical Health Education (PHE) Subject Chair to oversee our Health and Physical Education Department, beginning in August 2026. This role is crucial in developing the physical education curriculum for all students in alignment with the IB and Taiwan national curriculum standards.

Candidates interested in this position must possess a passport from a country where English is an official language and hold a valid teacher registration/license that permits them to teach in public schools in their home country or another jurisdiction.

Key responsibilities include leading the creation and execution of the physical education program, collaborating with faculty members, mentoring department teachers, and ensuring compliance with international standards.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education or a related field (minimum requirement)
- A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in physical education at the secondary school level
- In-depth knowledge of international curricula and best practices in physical education
- Proven leadership skills with experience or potential for effectively leading a subject team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
