The Role
Job Title: Pre-Prep Teacher
Reporting to: Head of Pre-Prep School
Inspirational Teaching and Learning
•
Foster an innovative atmosphere by crafting learning experiences that encourage language development, cultural appreciation, and cognitive growth.
•
Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally suitable lessons in accordance with the Cambridge Early Years Curriculum, ensuring the highest standards of early childhood education.
•
Utilize play-based learning, storytelling, music, movement, and hands-on exploration to enhance early literacy, numeracy, inquiry, and social-emotional skills.
•
Apply a variety of interactive, creative teaching methods to ignite curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning from the earliest stages.
•
Tailor learning experiences by differentiating instruction to accommodate the developmental levels, interests, and needs of each child, ensuring all learners feel recognized, included, and supported.
•
Track and document each child's progress through formative observations and developmental milestones, using assessment insights to refine teaching and provide focused next steps.
Pastoral Excellence and Child Development
•
Foster a warm, inclusive, and nurturing classroom atmosphere where every child feels safe, valued, and able to thrive.

Work collaboratively with fellow Pre-Prep educators to ensure curriculum consistency, shared expectations, and a unified educational philosophy throughout the phase.

The Person
Qualifications and Experience
•
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
•
A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
•
At least 3 years of experience in Early Years education, preferably in a school following the Cambridge International Curriculum.
•
A deep understanding of early childhood education principles and familiarity with assessment tools and practices for young learners.
•
Experience in a multicultural environment is highly desirable.
•
Knowledge of local educational regulations and standards is a plus.
