Primary EAL Teacher

For the academic year 2026/2027, we are looking for a committed, innovative, and flexible Primary EAL Teacher. Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Education, exhibit strong teamwork abilities, and demonstrate a clear dedication to assisting students for whom English is an Additional Language.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist EAL learners throughout the Primary phase via targeted interventions and in-class support.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers to plan, implement, and modify lessons that address the linguistic needs of EAL students.
• Evaluate students’ English language proficiency and track their progress through appropriate assessment methods.
• Design and execute effective strategies to facilitate language acquisition across the curriculum.
• Offer support and training to staff regarding EAL best practices and inclusive teaching methods.
• Communicate with parents to foster students’ language development and integration into the school community.

Qualifications:
• A relevant degree in Education, with additional qualifications or certification in EAL/TESOL preferred.
• Demonstrated experience as an EAL Teacher, ideally in an international or multicultural educational setting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to function effectively within a diverse team.
• A solid understanding of the English National Curriculum and approaches to enhance language development.
