Job Detail

We are on the lookout for a Teacher of Science, ideally specializing in Biology, to become a part of our effective Science Team. This is a thrilling opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educators who prioritize the needs of students in their teaching.

The perfect candidate will:


Exhibit a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and learning in the field of science.


Be capable of instructing all sciences at KS3 and KS4.


Possess experience in teaching Biology at the GCSE level.


Have experience with A Level Biology instruction or express a willingness to teach it (desirable).


Utilize practical work, demonstrations, and various innovative teaching methods to engage and challenge students.


Commit to remaining informed about current scientific advancements and effectively integrate technology and digital tools to enhance the learning experience in science.


Play a role in the continuous enhancement of the science curriculum and the development of departmental resources.


Deliver exemplary teaching while maintaining strong pastoral awareness.


Effectively use data to support student progress.


Hold a recognized degree in science along with a suitable teaching qualification.


Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and continual improvement.
