We are in search of a passionate and visionary MYP Humanities Language and Literature Teacher to enhance our expanding boarding school family. This full-time role involves teaching Design within the framework of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP).

Your Role and Responsibilities
In your capacity as an MYP Teacher, you will:

• Encourage students to think critically, reason logically, and apply their mathematical knowledge to real-world situations.

• Guide students through stimulating units anchored in conceptual inquiry and global themes.

• Cultivate a learning space that prioritizes collaboration, communication, and creativity alongside rigorous skill enhancement.
You will:

• Create and implement differentiated lessons utilizing blended, student-centered methodologies.

• Integrate problem-solving, modeling, and real-life data into everyday instruction.

• Employ the GRASPS framework for authentic summative assessment tasks.

• Support students in self-reflection, self-regulation, and academic accountability.

• Work with a highly motivated student body, primarily consisting of nationally selected scholarship recipients, offering a distinct chance to influence exceptional learners in significant and enduring ways.

Requirements and Expectations

• Certified teacher with a specialization in Design.
• Experience in IB MYP or a similar concept-based curriculum is preferred.

• Proficient in English and capable of teaching in English as the primary language of instruction.

• Skilled in utilizing digital tools for teaching, collaboration, and assessment.

• Committed to mentoring students and fostering numerate, confident problem-solvers.

• Eager to participate in ongoing professional development and interdisciplinary planning.
