About This Role

We are seeking an Assistant Head to work with our SLT to embed a Trauma Informed approach and develop pastoral strategies that will maintain excellent outcomes for students and support staff across the school.

Applicants should be experienced teachers with proven leadership skills and demonstrable knowledge with regard pastoral care to include safeguarding, behaviour and attendance. This role will include being Senior DSL for the school. You will be an effective decision maker, have excellent organisation skills and lead by example. The postholder will have some class teaching responsibilities (circa 0.5), oversee line management of a faculty, carry out lesson observations, participate in duty rotas during and after school, assist with parent evenings & meetings and contribute to the school development plan. The ability to teach a core subject would be desirable.
