Lead: Marketing Team across the Trust

Pay: (Scale 25-28) £43,143 – £46,326

Primary Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the creation, coordination, and execution of the marketing strategy for the trust, ensuring that it is in line with organizational goals and the unique identities of each college. This position requires collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to track progress, share insights, and refine marketing initiatives collectively for optimal effectiveness across all channels.

We are in search of an inquisitive and strategic Marketing & Communications Lead who will develop and implement a thorough marketing strategy across the Trust, aimed at enhancing visibility, identity, and community involvement.

This position provides an opportunity for a creative and strategic professional to manage an expanding marketing function and play a significant role in enhancing educational decisions and outcomes for young people.

About the Role

As the Marketing & Communications Lead, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and developing the marketing and communications function for all BFMAT colleges.
  • Designing, implementing, and assessing both Trust-wide and college-specific marketing strategies.
  • Strengthening and evolving the unique identities of each college while ensuring alignment with the Trust’s overall vision and values.
  • Overseeing campaigns, digital content, brand management, and external communications across various channels.
  • Utilizing insights, data, and feedback to guide decision-making and continuously enhance impact.
  • Collaborating with senior leaders, staff teams, students, and external partners to maintain a consistent and high-quality approach to marketing and communications.

Location: Hybrid with travel across all three Trust sites

Compensation
