About This Role
The main duty of this position is to serve as the Teacher of Special Educational Needs (SEN). A strong passion for SEN and a commitment to enhancing the achievement and attainment of young individuals are essential, alongside fulfilling all relevant aspects of the Teachers’ Standards.
You will act as the main point of contact for a small, consistent group of students, taking on the dual role of Lead Teacher and Form Tutor.
Employing a primary-model approach within a secondary setting, you will deliver an engaging, tailored curriculum across various core subjects. Your objective is to foster students' resilience, address academic gaps, and cultivate the social-emotional skills necessary for them to successfully engage with the broader school curriculum.
