About This Role

British Vietnamese International School is on the lookout for a dedicated, innovative, and qualified Teacher of Psychology with teacher status to join our outstanding secondary education team.

About the Role

As an integral part of our Humanities department, you will be responsible for teaching Psychology at the A Level. We seek a collaborative individual who can motivate non-native English-speaking students to strive for excellence. Your responsibilities will include implementing creative teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and improve academic outcomes.

About You

You should hold a university degree in your specialized subject area, possess a teaching qualification, and have significant teaching experience along with a solid grasp of the curriculum. A willingness to accept feedback and a desire to explore new methodologies, while also sharing successful practices with colleagues, are essential. There may also be prospects for candidates interested in pursuing a Middle Leadership Pastoral role.

As a key representative of our school, you will find innovative ways to connect students and families with the wider BVIS and Nord Anglia Education community. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help cultivate a vibrant and engaging classroom environment. Additionally, you must meet visa requirements for Vietnam, which include having a minimum of three years of teaching experience, full QTS status, and a relevant degree.
