- Creative Leadership: Play an integral role in coordinating school productions, concerts, and events that highlight student talent.
- Extra-Curricular Impact: Alongside classroom duties, you will provide a dynamic range of extra-curricular activities (including choir, school band, drama club, or technical theatre).
- Community Engagement: Help cultivate the supportive atmosphere at BWIC by participating in school-wide events and house competitions.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Educator: Holds a recognized teaching qualification and a degree in Music, Drama, or Performing Arts.
- Versatile Performer: Skilled in both disciplines, with strong personal abilities in at least one area (such as instrumental, vocal, or acting/directing).
- CAIE Experience: Familiarity with the Cambridge International (IGCSE) framework is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and adaptability are valued.
- Collaborative Spirit: A team player eager to work alongside our Science, IT, and Humanities departments on interdisciplinary initiatives.
Why Join BWIC?
- Exceptional Facilities: You will have access to a dedicated music room and performance spaces within a school environment that celebrates the arts.
- Small Class Sizes: With a student body of 195, you will benefit from intimate class sizes, enabling in-depth and personalized mentorship.
- A Lifestyle Unmatched: Live and work on "Provo," where your workday concludes with breathtaking beaches and a supportive, international faculty community.
