Wadebridge School is on the lookout for a qualified Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our well-equipped and flourishing Modern Foreign Languages department. This opportunity is open to both experienced teachers and early career teachers (ECT).
About the Role
In the Modern Foreign Languages department, Key Stage 3 students have the option to study either French or Spanish. At Key Stage 4, students follow the Edexcel specification.
The successful candidate will:
- Teach French and Spanish at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that motivate and challenge all students
- Contribute to the ongoing development of a vibrant and ambitious MFL curriculum
- Assist students in achieving strong outcomes at GCSE
- Actively participate in the broader life of the department and school
The Ideal Candidate
This role is ideal for an experienced teacher with a history of excellent student progress across Key Stages 3 and 4, or a newly qualified teacher who demonstrates the potential to positively influence student outcomes. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, confident, and wholly committed to upholding the highest standards of teaching and learning, alongside a genuine passion for fostering an interest in MFL.
Candidates should possess the energy and vision to build upon the department's current progress and be eager to enhance existing learning schemes to encourage student participation, progress, and achievement, aiming for aspirational outcomes for all.
