KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics instruction in line with the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and other international educational standards.
- Create and execute stimulating lessons designed to accommodate diverse learning styles, employing modern teaching strategies and technology.
- Assess student progress through both formative and summative evaluations to uphold rigorous academic standards.
- Provide pastoral care to students, supporting their well-being in collaboration with the school's well-being team.
- Encourage student involvement in extracurricular programs, academic competitions, and STEM initiatives.
- Contribute to curriculum development and school enhancement efforts.
- Foster a positive classroom environment with high standards for behavior and discipline.
- Work together with fellow educators to share best practices and promote professional growth.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and stakeholders regarding student advancements.
- Stay updated on educational developments and engage in continuous professional learning.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field, along with a valid teaching certification.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level, preferably with knowledge of the IB curriculum (IBDP) or other international programs.
- A talent for inspiring and engaging students, nurturing a love for problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Strong skills in tailoring instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Experience in utilizing technology and innovative teaching methods to enrich educational experiences.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
