Founded in 1970, Campion School is committed to providing outstanding education for students aged three to eighteen. We are seeking a passionate and qualified IB Economics Teacher to join our supportive Social Science department. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional instruction within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) and make a positive contribution to our school community.
What we are looking for:
Key Responsibilities
- Teach IB Economics at both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL)
- Design, prepare, and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB principles
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Support students with Internal Assessments and exam preparation
- Participate in curriculum development and departmental planning
- Engage in school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development
Requirements
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, BEd, or equivalent) from the same country as the passport
- A degree in Economics or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality IB Economics instruction
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering international-mindedness and student-centered learning
Desirable
- IB training and/or experience as an examiner
- Experience teaching in an international school setting
- Ability to teach an additional subject (advantageous but not essential)
