We are seeking a passionate and qualified IB Economics Teacher to join our supportive Social Science department. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional instruction within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) and make a positive contribution to our school community.

What we are looking for:

Key Responsibilities

Teach IB Economics at both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL)
Design, prepare, and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with IB principles
Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
Support students with Internal Assessments and exam preparation
Participate in curriculum development and departmental planning
Engage in school events, meetings, and ongoing professional development

Requirements

A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, BEd, or equivalent) from the same country as the passport
A degree in Economics or a related field
Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality IB Economics instruction
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to fostering international-mindedness and student-centered learning

Desirable

IB training and/or experience as an examiner
Experience teaching in an international school setting
Ability to teach an additional subject (advantageous but not essential)
