What You Will Do
- Deliver engaging and effective General Science lessons for KS3 and IGCSE, alongside Chemistry instruction for the IB Diploma level.
- Design inquiry-driven learning experiences that bolster scientific reasoning, experimentation, and practical application in real-world contexts.
- Utilize formative and summative assessments to inform your teaching and provide valuable feedback to students and their families.
- Collaborate closely with the Science Department to ensure curriculum alignment and foster interdisciplinary links.
- Participate in various school-wide activities, including clubs, enrichment initiatives, and pastoral care.
About You
- A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Science Education, or a related field.
- A recognized teaching credential (PGCE/QTS or an equivalent international qualification).
- Demonstrated experience teaching KS3 and IGCSE Science, with a preference for IB DP Chemistry (or A-Level).
- Strong subject expertise, inclusive teaching strategies, and proficiency in digital learning technologies.
- A reflective educator with outstanding communication abilities, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to student wellbeing and safeguarding.
