We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced Teacher of Economics and Business to join our team in August 2026, specifically someone with expertise in the IB curriculum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide engaging and effective instruction in IB Business Management and Economics, in accordance with the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and other international curricula.
- Create and implement stimulating lessons that cater to diverse learning needs, employing modern teaching strategies and technology.
- Assess student progress through both formative and summative evaluations, maintaining high academic standards.
- Offer pastoral support that promotes student well-being and collaborate with the school’s well-being team.
- Encourage student involvement in extra-curricular activities, business-related initiatives, and community projects.
- Contribute to curriculum development and initiatives focused on school improvement.
- Cultivate a positive classroom environment with high standards of conduct and discipline.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support professional development goals.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and stakeholders regarding student progress.
- Stay informed about educational developments and engage in ongoing professional development.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A relevant degree in Business, Economics, or a related field, along with a valid teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching IB Business Management and/or Economics (or comparable international programs).
- The ability to inspire and engage students, fostering a passion for business and economic concepts.
- Strong skills in differentiating instruction for diverse learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Experience in using technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance educational experiences.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding and student welfare practices.
