About This Role

GEMS Royal Dubai School is a vibrant and esteemed institution that adheres to the British curriculum, currently catering to students from FS1 to Year 8. We are thrilled to share our plans to expand to Year 9 in September 2026, as part of a structured growth initiative that will extend through Year 13. As we embark on this exciting growth journey, we are delighted to announce the opening of a brand-new, purpose-built secondary campus in September 2026. This state-of-the-art facility will enhance the exceptional education we deliver across our two campuses.

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join our team in September 2026. While experience in teaching Design Technology is preferred, we invite applications from candidates who exhibit self-motivation, ambition, and a commitment to achieving high standards for all students. Job Purpose

The primary function of this role is to teach Art as a subject specialist across Key Stages 1, 2, and 3, providing a comprehensive and engaging learning experience that leads to exceptional outcomes for every student.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence for each student
  • Show in-depth and comprehensive knowledge of the Art curriculum relevant to Key Stages 1, 2, and 3 of the National Curriculum for England
  • Provide consistently high-quality teaching and learning while collaborating and sharing effective practices with colleagues
  • Utilize student data effectively to customize learning and improve progress
  • Maintain a high-performance mindset, remaining reflective, solution-focused, and proactive
  • Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and innovation into the classroom
  • Adhere to the highest safeguarding standards while supporting students’ personal and social development
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, students, and parents through outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Aim to be part of a world-class school offering genuine career advancement opportunities
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and community events
  • Engage in ongoing professional development
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by the CEO and Principal

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
