The Josef-Schwarz-School is situated in a picturesque environment in Erlenbach and is conveniently accessible from Heilbronn. We are currently in search of a Biology Teacher for our secondary school located in Heilbronn and Erlenbach.

Your Responsibilities

  • Planning and organizing lessons while developing pedagogical strategies in line with our benchmarked curriculum.
  • Encouraging independent learning and the adoption of new teaching methodologies.
  • Utilizing various teaching methods and materials to address the diverse needs and interests of students.
  • Thoroughly preparing students for both written and oral German school leaving examinations.

Your Profile

  • Ideally, you possess Qualified Teacher Status that aligns with the German Second State Examination, specializing in secondary education. Alternatively, you might be a Native English speaker with a Master's degree in Biology and substantial teaching experience in the German educational system.
  • Proficient in German (B2 level) and a native-level English speaker.
  • Enthusiastic about contributing to the development of new educational concepts and demonstrating a collaborative mindset.
  • A role model for students with a passion for teaching in a secondary setting.
  • Interested in developing and implementing innovative pedagogical methods that focus on individualized student growth.
