About This Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Senior Cover Supervisor to play a key role in ensuring learning continues smoothly when staff are absent.

You’ll be at the heart of the school day — coordinating daily cover, supporting alongside our team of Cover Supervisors, liaising with agency staff where required, and stepping into classrooms to supervise students and pre-prepared learning. You’ll need to be confident managing behaviour, building positive relationships with young people and keeping calm when plans change.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy secondary school environment, has experience working with young people and enjoys making a real difference to the smooth running of the school.

Job Details

Hours of Work: 37 Hours per Week, Term Time Only

Compensation

£22,970.00 - £24,888.00 Annually (Actual) Salary shown above is pro rata, based on an Full Time Equivalent of £26,824 to £29,064 (Grade F, Scale Points 08-13)
