Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement engaging, inquiry-driven lessons that stimulate curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for learning.
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that recognizes individual strengths and various learning styles.
• Differentiating instructional strategies to accommodate the diverse needs of all students, including those with EAL, gifted learners, and those needing extra support.
• Utilize technology and innovative methodologies to enrich student learning and engagement.
• Assess, document, and effectively communicate student progress, using data to guide teaching and personalized assistance.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the development and refinement of IB-aligned curriculum plans, resources, and assessments.
• Participate in the broader school community through co-curricular activities, events, and initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with parents and the wider school community to promote student development and wellbeing.
• Engage in continuous professional development and self-reflection to improve teaching practices.
• Embody the GEMS values and the IB Learner Profile in all areas of school life.
