About This Role

Who We Are & What We Do

The Swiss International Scientific School in Dubai (SISD) is a prestigious international day and boarding school dedicated to nurturing confident, curious, and compassionate lifelong learners. Located in the dynamic heart of Dubai, our mission is to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary for thriving in a rapidly changing global environment.

Global Curriculum

At SISD, we follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework from Pre-Kindergarten (PreKG) through Grade 12, and we introduce the Swiss Baccalaureate program beginning in Grade 6. As an IB Continuum World School, we are accredited to deliver the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), IB Middle Years Programme (MYP), IB Diploma Programme (DP), and the IB Career-related Programme (CP). We are also proud to be affiliated with Nord Anglia Education, the Council of International Schools (CIS), the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), and the European Council of International Schools (ECIS).

Multilingual Education That Opens Doors

SISD offers three unique educational pathways designed to promote international-mindedness, enhance students' capabilities, and provide access to various cultures:

  • IB Bilingual English/French (with Arabic)
  • IB Bilingual English/German (with Arabic)
  • IB with additional languages (French / German with Arabic) and a customized STEAM program from PreKG to Grade 5.

Committed to Safeguarding

At SISD, we emphasize the safeguarding and well-being of every student and staff member, ensuring a secure and supportive environment that fosters learning and personal growth. We implement stringent recruitment practices in accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education and the International Task Force on Child Protection. All appointments are subject to a thorough interview process and extensive vetting protocols, including identity verification, online social media evaluations, criminal background checks from the country of residence/home country and any additional countries of residence, verification of work eligibility in the UAE, and Barring & Prohibition checks.
