Secondary Science Teacher
About This Role
Job Purpose:
We are seeking a remarkable Science Teacher to join our Secondary Team. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching Science to secondary students and should be capable of delivering Physics instruction up to Year 13.
We are looking for an individual who is excited about international education, innovative in their teaching methods, and committed to continuous professional growth. The ideal applicant will be adaptable, ready to embrace challenges, and an exceptional educator in the classroom.
Desired qualifications include:
· A relevant degree in Science or a closely related discipline.
· A recognized teaching qualification (such as PGCE, QTS, or an equivalent international certification).
· Extensive subject knowledge across the sciences, particularly with confidence and preferably experience in teaching Physics up to Year 13.
· A strong understanding of contemporary educational methodologies and pedagogical approaches.
· Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
· Relevant teaching experience in Science at a UK or international school that adheres to the Pearson International Curriculum and the National Curriculum of England, from KS3 through to A Levels.
· A dedication to supporting wider school initiatives and engaging in the extracurricular programs offered by the institution.
· Must possess an EU passport or currently hold a permit that allows work and residence in Luxembourg.
