Requirements and Experience:

Essential:

  • A bachelor’s degree relevant to the teaching subject or an equivalent qualification
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent credential
  • Strong subject knowledge paired with a genuine enthusiasm for imparting your expertise to students
  • Experience in teaching GCSE and A Level courses
  • A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, although applications from new teachers who strive for excellence will be welcomed
  • Proven ability to deliver consistently engaging lessons with a track record of exceptional results
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
  • Evidence of a commitment to ongoing professional development related to this role
  • Creative ideas that will elevate the department’s profile within the school
  • Proficient ICT skills that align with the role of technology in modern classrooms
  • Dedication to the extracurricular program
  • A commitment to the well-being and pastoral care of all students under your supervision
  • A creative, optimistic, and innovative approach

Desirable:

  • Experience teaching abroad or working with international students
