About This Role
Due to a rise in student enrollment, Al Rabeeh Academy is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and flexible Secondary Maths Lead Teacher (Suitable for ECT Teachers) to begin immediately.
Al Rabeeh Academy, a stunning purpose-built institution that opened its doors in August 2017, is part of an expanding network of schools. As a bilingual private school catering to students from FS1 to Year 13, we deliver the English National Curriculum alongside Arabic. Candidates must understand the ethos and values of Al Rabeeh Academy, which serves a significant population of Arabic-speaking students. The chosen candidate will be an effective communicator, adept at fostering open dialogue with students, staff, and parents. Applicants should exemplify leadership and actively participate in the Academy’s extracurricular activities.
Fluency in English, possession of a relevant degree and teaching qualification, and at least 2 years of experience teaching in schools following the National Curriculum of England are required for applicants.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
• Professional leadership and management for the English curriculum area, consistent with national curriculum standards and school policies.
• The ability to implement a suitable curriculum for our students while aligning with the school's aims and curriculum policies.
• The capability to inspire colleagues with a vision and dedication to values that promote high-quality teaching, effective resource management, and elevated learning standards for all students.
• Execution of standard teaching duties through an appropriate teaching program.
• Support for the professional development of educators and enhancement of overall teaching practices.
• Oversight of student progress and development in Maths, serving as a form tutor.
• Promotion of Maths outside regular school hours and the demonstration of excellent subject knowledge of the national curriculum.
• Strong classroom management skills, proficiency in Maths, and the capacity to teach across KS3 and KS4, focusing on 21st-century learning, IT integration, and support for EAL students.
• Experience teaching 'A' levels.
• The ability to encourage creative learning while developing 21st-century learning environments and innovation skills.
• Confidence in utilizing IT to enhance and extend student learning experiences.
• Experience in analyzing data from internal assessments, standardized tests, and external evaluations to monitor student progress.
• Essential experience in teaching EAL students.
