Secondary Inclusion Teacher
Kings’ School Al Barsha is seeking a Secondary Inclusion Teacher to join our growing Inclusion Team starting August 2026. Our esteemed Inclusion department looks forward to welcoming an individual who will significantly contribute to the development and success of our team.
Our department is well-resourced and consists of a diverse group of professionals, including a Head of Inclusion, dyslexia specialists, a speech and language therapist, an autism team, and a dedicated group of specialized learning support teachers and assistants. This position presents an excellent opportunity for a passionate, innovative, and motivating educator to become part of a successful, caring, and supportive team.

Requirements and Experience:
Essential:
- A Bachelor's degree in education or a related field along with a SEND Qualification, or a Bachelor's Degree in SEND Education or Inclusion.
- A PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, alongside a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
- Experience teaching English at the GCSE level and familiarity with Dyslexia Support (preferred but not mandatory).
- Knowledge of the UK Code of Practice for Special Educational Needs.
- Understanding of intervention strategies for various learning needs.
- A solid foundation in literacy, numeracy, communication, and language acquisition development is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) to effectively engage with parents, students, and colleagues, demonstrating cultural awareness.
- A collaborative mindset with high emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and sensitivity.
- A dedication to the safeguarding, well-being, and pastoral care of all students under their supervision.
- A willingness to engage with the wider school community.
- The ability to adapt quickly to Kings’ fast-paced, international, multicultural, and demanding environment (experience with overseas work or international students is advantageous but not required).
- An understanding of the Dubai Inclusive Education Policy Framework (2017), or a willingness to learn it.
