About This Role

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Teacher to become part of our Humanities department during an exciting new chapter in the school's growth, commencing in February 2025. The ideal candidate will be confident and capable of teaching Geography and/or History at all secondary levels; alternatively, they may focus on both subjects specifically within the Middle School (KS3) framework. The ability to teach an additional subject, such as English, Business Studies, or Theory of Knowledge (TOK), would be advantageous.

Cambridge College currently prepares its students for IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme.

The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:

- A relevant degree, along with a UK PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- At least four years of teaching experience.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude as a team member.
- Desirable familiarity with the English National Curriculum, (I)GCSE, and IBDP syllabuses.
- A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering the holistic development of students.
- A proven history of outstanding classroom and pedagogical practices.
- Willingness to engage in our extracurricular activities program.
- Flexibility to collaborate across different curriculum areas and key stages.
- A collaborative spirit, eager to contribute to the development of new initiatives to enhance the English curriculum.
- Knowledge and experience in leveraging digital technologies to support student learning.
