Secondary Humanities Teacher
About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and creative Teacher to become part of our Humanities department as we embark on an exciting new chapter starting in February 2025. The ideal candidate will possess the confidence and capability to teach Geography and/or History at all secondary levels, or may choose to focus on both subjects specifically for Middle School (KS3). Proficiency in an additional subject, such as English, Business Studies, or Theory of Knowledge (TOK), would be advantageous.
Cambridge College is currently engaged in preparing students for IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme.

The successful applicant should possess:
- A relevant degree, along with a UK PGCE or another recognized teaching qualification.
- At least four years of teaching experience.
- A positive and enthusiastic demeanor as a staff member.
- Familiarity with the English National Curriculum, (I)GCSE, and IBDP syllabuses is preferred.
- A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to nurturing the whole child.
- A strong record of exemplary classroom and pedagogical practices.
- The ability to engage in our extra-curricular activities program.
- Flexibility to work collaboratively across different curriculum subjects and key stages.
- A collaborative spirit to help develop new initiatives that enhance the English curriculum.
- Knowledge and experience in utilizing digital technologies to enrich student learning.

- Four years of teaching experience
- A teaching degree or qualification
- PGCE or PGDE, UK Qualified Teacher Status or a comparable teaching credential
- Proficiency in English
