School Compliance Officer
About This Role
In light of the ongoing success of GEMS Founders School Dubai South, we are looking for a School Compliance Officer to become part of our team. The School Compliance Officer (SCO) will serve as the primary authority for all regulatory compliance issues at the school. This position is responsible for ensuring that the school adheres fully to the requirements set by local educational authorities and other regulatory bodies, including but not limited to MOE, ADEK, KHDA, SPEA, RAK, MOHRE, Civil Defense, and Health and Safety agencies.
Regulatory Compliance Responsibilities:
- Ensure complete compliance with all requirements from educational regulatory authorities (MOE, ADEK, KHDA, SPEA, RAKDOK) and other pertinent entities (MOHRE, Health and Safety, Civil Defense, MOHAP, DHA, DOH).
- Take charge of managing the student regulatory system, which includes student registrations, transfers, withdrawals, and entry of marks.
- Supervise the teacher approval process in collaboration with HR, ensuring adherence to regulatory timelines and stipulations.
- Maintain current records of all necessary permits and licenses for school operations.
- Organize and manage compliance documentation at the school level related to regulatory and administrative needs.
- Act as the school’s primary contact for regulatory issues, liaising with the CCL and external regulators.
- Collaborate with the MSO and relevant teams to track timelines and guarantee the accurate, complete, and timely submission and renewal of all required regulatory approvals.
- Regularly monitor and report on school-level regulatory compliance data to the CCL, Principal, and other relevant stakeholders.
