About This Role

We are seeking a committed and compassionate Pupil and Family Support Worker and Deputy Safeguarding Lead to join our dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and families and who shares our belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting pupils and families to overcome barriers to school engagement, attendance, wellbeing and behaviour. Working closely with school staff, external agencies and families, you will help ensure that all children feel safe, supported and ready to learn.

As Deputy Safeguarding Lead, you will work alongside the Designated Safeguarding Lead to promote a strong culture of safeguarding and wellbeing across the school.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Child-centered in their approach and committed to achieving the best outcomes for every pupil.
  • Calm, caring and compassionate, with excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to build positive, trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Emotionally resilient and skilled at supporting pupils through challenges and change.
  • Committed to upholding and modelling our school values in all aspects of their work.
  • Experience with working with children and families and able to work effectively with external agencies.

At our school, our 5Rs are at the heart of everything we do, shaping our culture, relationships and expectations. We believe that all children and adults should be supported to be the very best they can be, with opportunities to develop their talents, achieve success and fulfil their potential. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping us bring these values to life every day.

If you are passionate about supporting children and families and want to be part of a caring, ambitious and values-driven school community, we would love to hear from you.
