Enishi International School in Japan is on the lookout for a committed Japanese Additional Language Teacher to be a part of our Languages Department. This role is centered on teaching Japanese as an additional language to elementary or primary school students.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities entail planning and delivering engaging lessons that facilitate language acquisition, nurturing a supportive learning environment, and working collaboratively with colleagues to enrich student learning experiences.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (minimum requirement)
• A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience, ideally in an international or IB context
• Strong understanding of Japanese language and culture
• Knowledge of the IB PYP framework and inquiry-based learning methods
• Outstanding communication skills in both English and Japanese
