We are seeking a passionate and talented Art Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal applicant will be a native or proficient English speaker with a background in design and a proven ability to engage with children. This role involves teaching primary students in an ESL (English as a Second Language) environment, crafting an interactive art curriculum, and fostering a love for creativity and self-expression among young minds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver engaging art lessons in English for primary school students, ensuring they are appropriate for ESL learners.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive art curriculum that aligns with the school's educational goals while encouraging creativity, exploration, and artistic growth.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that addresses the diverse needs of all students.
• Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a productive and respectful learning environment.
• Incorporate design principles and various art techniques into lessons to provide a well-rounded artistic education.
• Organize and display student artwork to celebrate their accomplishments and promote the art program within the school community.
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to integrate art into interdisciplinary projects and school events.
• Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress while maintaining accurate records of their growth.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school.

Requirements:

• Native or fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Art, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children, ideally in a teaching capacity.
• Strong background in design and a comprehensive understanding of various art techniques and mediums.
• Experience in designing and implementing art curricula tailored for primary school students.
• Ability to teach art in an ESL context, focusing on creating engaging and accessible lessons for non-native English speakers.
• Outstanding classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
• Creative, patient, and enthusiastic about fostering artistic expression in children.
• Willingness to adapt to a new cultural environment and collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
