In the Early Years, we adopt a personalized, play-based approach, complemented by ongoing assessments aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, emphasizing essential learning skills and foundational knowledge for the Primary Curriculum. The primary curriculum offers a comprehensive and enriching experience, including various non-core subjects. In Year 11, senior students complete IGCSE examinations and then transition into the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) or the International Baccalaureate Career-Related Programme (IBCP) in Years 12 and 13.

The Al-Futtaim Education Foundation (AFEF) oversees Deira International School, aiming to enhance education in the UAE for future readiness and prepare students for a global, technologically advanced environment. AFEF is an initiative of the Al Futtaim family, supporting Dubai's governmental vision and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) in developing a globally competitive economy while increasing its social contributions through this not-for-profit initiative.

We are on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated educator to become part of our outstanding, well-equipped PE department. You will work alongside a team of highly committed professionals focused on promoting student progress, holistic development, and encouraging physical activity.

The PE department actively engages in extracurricular sports and effectively manages teams across various disciplines. Applicants should be ready to fully participate in both the curriculum and extracurricular PE and sports activities.

Moreover, our department includes a comprehensive swimming program, and contributions from all team members are vital. Experience in teaching swimming is advantageous.

While PE teachers are categorized as either ‘Primary’ or ‘Secondary,’ members of the department may be required to support both schools, making experience across all key stages beneficial.
