About This Role

EtonHouse International School is on the lookout for a Music Teacher to provide dynamic music instruction for primary students. The successful candidate should also be prepared to take on additional teaching responsibilities.


Work collaboratively with students, fellow educators, and the EtonHouse community to design fun and educational music and movement experiences that support learning through student-driven inquiries.


Offer students a variety of chances for self-expression and exploration through songs, lyrics, and movements that are in line with the curriculum, as well as music related to performance themes.


Conduct regular meetings with classroom teachers and the curriculum coordinator to exchange ideas and connect with ongoing inquiries.


Uphold high standards of teaching excellence and professionalism.


Participate in continuous professional development and actively contribute to the Music Teacher role within the school community.


Record children’s learning and relate it to the curriculum, including portfolio entries, newsletters, and community display boards.


Manage and improve primary school resources and materials for the Music program.

Qualifications


A Diploma in education with a specialization in music, or a diploma/degree in music, or a Diploma in Music Performance/Speech & Drama.


Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English.


Additional Benefits: Ability to play at least one musical instrument and/or basic qualifications in Education/Primary School Teaching.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
