About This Role

Primary Music Teacher

Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba is seeking a passionate and committed Music Teacher to educate students in Key Stages 1 and 2. We envision the selected individual growing alongside our department, playing a key role in enhancing practices and ensuring that music is integral to our school's culture.

Our department is well-equipped with an array of instruments and a robust peripatetic music program, along with specially designed classrooms that nurture and showcase the creativity of our students.

You will have the chance to work alongside a successful and innovative Head of Department dedicated to promoting Music as a vital component of our school community.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree relevant to the teaching subject
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) and/or a PGCE
  • An outstanding teacher with experience in Primary education
  • Proven ability to deliver consistently engaging lessons with a track record of positive results
  • Experience in organizing music clubs, assemblies, and productions is essential
  • A commitment to the well-being and pastoral care of every student
  • Willingness to engage more broadly within the school community
  • Innovative, creative, and enthusiastic with a demonstrated ability to achieve results
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and engage both children and adults
  • Strong dedication to cultivating a culture of high expectations and quality care
  • Extensive professional knowledge and understanding acquired in a well-established educational setting
  • Familiarity with assessment strategies and using assessments to monitor progress in teaching and learning
  • Ability to manage change effectively and perform well under pressure
  • An exceptional collaborative practitioner with a proven capacity to build positive working relationships and communicate efficiently with various stakeholders
