About This Role

We are looking for a dynamic Primary Music Teacher to become part of our vibrant Primary phase starting in August 2026. In this role, you will provide Music education across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing a comprehensive curriculum that enhances musicianship, fosters confidence, and aligns with our ethos of ‘The Best by Every Child’. Requirements and Experience:

Essential:

  • A bachelor's degree in Music or a related discipline
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Proven experience in primary music teaching across EYFS and Primary
  • Strong instrumental skills with expertise in whole class instruction
  • Demonstrated ability to lead ensemble rehearsals
  • Solid understanding of the English National Curriculum for Music
  • Proficient in using assessment to promote progress for all students
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Capability to deliver consistently inspiring lessons with a demonstrated history of achieving results
  • Experience in Safeguarding and Child Protection protocols
  • A commitment to the well-being and pastoral care of all students in your charge
  • A creative, enthusiastic, innovative, and results-oriented approach

Desirable:

  • Experience working internationally or with students from diverse backgrounds is a plus
  • Background in organizing productions and concerts within a school environment
  • Familiarity with music technology to enhance educational outcomes
