About This Role
Due to our ongoing expansion, we are in search of an exceptional Primary Music Teacher to become part of our team, commencing on 18-08-2025. We are looking for candidates who can inspire student curiosity and engagement. Preference will be given to those with experience in the IB curriculum, who can tailor learning experiences and demonstrate a strong commitment to holistic child education.

The Role:
The Primary Music Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that ensure exceptional student learning aligned with the IB/PYP framework. The ideal candidate will have a warm and approachable demeanor, along with an engaging personality. This teacher will prioritize providing well-resourced lessons and advocate for every child's right to learn by fostering a supportive yet challenging environment. Building strong relationships with students, the school community, and the wider community will be essential. The ideal teacher will have the confidence to deliver lessons and nurture children’s confidence and self-esteem.
Requirements:
- Teaching qualification in Music
- Valid American Teaching License, PGCE with UK Qualified Teacher Status, Bachelor of Education, or SACE.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of proven teaching experience is essential, preferably within an IB school.
- Professional dedication to the successful implementation of an enriched IB/PYP curriculum.
- High proficiency in IT skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Enthusiasm for enhancing sports through extracurricular activities and competitions.
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to contribute to the overall welfare of the school.
