About the role

We are on the lookout for a motivated and skilled Primary ICS Teacher (ages 7 to 12) to become a part of our vibrant team at Dipont Huayao Collegiate School Kunshan. This position is perfect for educators who are eager to engage young learners in the realms of computing, coding, and digital literacy through hands-on and stimulating approaches.

- As a Primary ICS Teacher, you will facilitate the development of critical computational thinking, problem-solving, and digital skills in students via interactive projects and creative learning opportunities.
- Instruct elementary students on fundamental computer science principles, concentrating on coding, problem-solving, and digital literacy.
- Create captivating, practical lessons using block-based coding (e.g., Scratch, Blockly) to introduce the basics of programming.
- Guide students in computational thinking, which includes sequencing, pattern recognition, and basic debugging.
- Educate on digital literacy and online safety, ensuring students grasp responsible internet usage and digital citizenship.
- Assist students in comprehending the workings of computers and the connections between devices.
- Support students in data management, including organizing files, utilizing basic spreadsheets, and presenting digital content.
- Foster creativity through multimedia projects such as digital storytelling, animation, and introductory game design.
