KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver engaging and effective English instruction for primary students, following international best practices.
• Create and implement captivating lessons that cater to diverse learning styles, using modern teaching strategies and technologies.
• Evaluate student progress through both formative and summative assessments to maintain high academic standards.
• Provide pastoral care to support student well-being, collaborating with the school’s well-being team.
• Encourage student involvement in extracurricular activities, literacy initiatives, and enrichment programs.
• Contribute to the development of the curriculum and school improvement projects.
• Cultivate a positive classroom environment with high expectations for behavior and discipline.
• Work collaboratively with fellow educators to exchange effective teaching strategies and support professional development goals.
• Maintain regular communication with parents and stakeholders about student progress.
• Stay informed about educational trends and engage in continuous professional development.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A relevant degree in Education, English, or a related field, along with a valid teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English at the primary level, preferably in an international or bilingual setting.
• The ability to inspire and engage young learners, fostering a love for reading, writing, and communication.
• Strong skills in tailoring instruction to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Experience utilizing technology and innovative teaching practices to enhance the educational experience.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development.
• A thorough understanding of safeguarding and student welfare practices.
