About This Role

Runnymede College, a private non-denominational British school in Madrid, offers a British education to a diverse group of students aged two to eighteen, following the British National Curriculum.

Founded in September 1967, Runnymede College launched its primary section in 1987 and has been located in La Moraleja, northern Madrid, since 1990. The school is divided into three main parts: Pre-Prep (Pre Nursery to Year 3), Prep (Years 4 to 8), and Senior School (Years 9 to 13).

Runnymede College is known for its outstanding academic achievements. In June 2025, 57% of our students attained A-A* grades at A level, exceeding the 48% A*-A grades reported by independent schools across England this year. Additionally, 67% of our students achieved A*-A grades at IGCSE, significantly above the 48% A*-A grades seen at GCSE in the independent school sector in England.

Among the graduating class of 2025, 83% of those planning to attend UK universities will enroll in institutions ranked in the Top 10 according to the Sunday Times Good University Guide. This year’s graduates are heading to esteemed universities in the UK, including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, and LSE. Students pursuing higher education in the US have begun their studies at distinguished institutions such as Harvard, Columbia, UPenn, and Brown, among others.

Some of our students will continue their education in Spain at top establishments like ICADE, IE, and ICAI, while others will pursue opportunities at leading universities in Europe, particularly in France and Ireland.

We invite you to join a dynamic and rewarding educational atmosphere both within and beyond the classroom. Candidates should be ready to actively participate in the school's co-curricular programs.
