We are currently looking for a committed Teacher of Physics to join our Science department in the Secondary School, which consists of four Science teachers, a full-time lab technician, and four newly equipped laboratories.

Enough For All, For Ever

Since its establishment in 2018, The Arbor School has embraced a transformative educational vision—one that is experiential, authentic, and inspired by the natural beauty, human creativity, and significant ecological and social challenges of the Arabian Peninsula.

To foster a learning community committed to understanding and restoring the health of both ecological and human systems, we strive for a balance of optimism, ambition, and humility. Our core belief in the intrinsic goodness of individuals and their capacity for empathy and compassion fuels the hope necessary for cultivating a sustainable future. The resilience to tackle global challenges is crucial for developing sustainable solutions and implementing the social changes required to expand them. Recognizing that we are all learners—never masters—drives our dedication to instill a lifelong passion for knowledge.

By acknowledging the interconnectedness of cognitive, affective, and participative domains and their impact on learning, we adopt a holistic educational approach aimed at equipping learners to:

• Understand the interconnected concepts of sustainability, individual and collective well-being, and social and environmental justice;

• Find purpose, meaning, and joy in their interactions with the natural world and with one another, while seeking to appreciate those who differ from themselves;

• Experience a sense of achievement and self-efficacy through their actions both at home, in school, and within the broader community.
