At BASIS, we believe that students can achieve genuine learning through rigorous challenges. From middle school onward, our students engage in advanced coursework, maintaining high expectations while building a strong foundation in core subjects, revisiting and deepening concepts each year to prepare them for honors and Advanced Placement courses starting in ninth grade.

As a Physics teacher, you will expand upon this solid foundation by teaching topics such as Newtonian mechanics, work, energy, mechanical waves and sound, as well as introductory simple circuits. You will facilitate student-led labs to provide hands-on experiences that enhance comprehension.

In addition, you will:

Work Experience

Who We’re Looking For

- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are also highly valued for Pre-K through Grade 5).
- Experience: A minimum of two years serving as the lead teacher in a classroom, which is required for obtaining a working visa.
