CFIS is currently seeking on-call, casual Bus Drivers to provide transportation for various field trips and sporting events throughout the school year (September to June) and during summer camps in August. These assignments may take place during or outside of standard school hours.
Job Description:
CFIS is accepting applications for two (2) or more on-call Bus Driver positions, specifically for our new electric bus. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Safely transporting students, staff, and volunteers to and from field trips and sporting events.
- Ensuring the assigned bus is regularly charged, maintained, and kept clean.
Skills, Technical and Behavioral Competencies Required:
- A Class 2 driving license with an S endorsement.
- 2 to 5 years of driving experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and knowledge of current transportation regulations.
- Collaborative interpersonal skills that reflect CFIS’s values.
The chosen candidate must provide, or have on file, a recent Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening prior to commencing work.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this role is $20.80.
